I will put up my itinerary here as my sister and I have spent some time doing it up, but we did not have enough time as my mum did not want to be rushed.
I’ve studied in Melbourne before, and my parents have also been to Melbourne a few times, so this is not a typical itinerary (for the non-roadtrip portion).
We also deviated a bit from it, as it was mostly free and easy.

Day 4
It’s the day of my sister’s graduation! She finally graduated after 2 years from William Angliss with a Bachelor of Culinary Management!
On Day 3, we took a second road trip to Yarra Valley. As this trip was with the parents, they wanted a very slow-paced and relaxing itinerary, that is why we did not manage to visit every place that we wanted to.
Still, there are a few must-gos, and the first on the list is Yarra Valley Dairy!

Time for a roadtrip to Mornington Peninsula! Not my first time there but my first time driving there!!
On the day of my sister’s graduation in Melbourne, we decided to have a Chinese dinner to celebrate the occasion. After a quick search on Urbanspoon, New Shanghai at Emporium Melbourne seems to fit the bill.
I was wandering alone in the city and dropped by earlier than them to take a table.

Rise & shine to a new year! We packed our stuff (picnic food, water, this and that) and left for our road trip to Central Coast.
It’s about 1.5 hours drive from Ryde, NSW and we arrived at The Entrance, NSW.
The place was crowded! Lots of people here for the sun and parking was so hard to find, but we managed to have a really good spot by the sea after a while of waiting.
The bf placed his car key in the boot to help me take a polaroid shot and promptly closed the boot cover. In the end he called NRMA roadside assistance and they arrived in 20 mins.

There are many furniture stores (Fantastic Furniture, Freedom, etc) and also electrical stores like The Good Guys.
We bought a standing fan from The Good Guys and the tom tom GPS there was cheaper than what the bf paid for 1 week before at some other store (Dick Smith I think?)
For dinner, we ordered Dominos online and went to pick up at the Gladesville store.
